Katsiaryna is the Research Fellow for Europe & Central Asia working with the Protection Coordinator for the region to support human rights defenders at risk. She is also a country coordinator within a project 'Tackling the Roots of Hate against LGBTI People in Europe and Central Asi,' that was launched by Article 19 in 2016.  From 2011 to 2015, she was first the International Secretary and then Executive Director with the LGBTI rights project 'GayBelarus'. Over past nine years, Katsiaryna worked with various national and international organisations on the issues related to human rights (namely advocacy and promotion of human rights of LGBTIQ people), civil society empowerment (consulting, project management, organisational development, partnership and coalition building), youth politics and environment protection.
