Huy Pham is a Vietnam war refugee and resettled in the US in 1975. He has worked for a number of NGOs, including Save the Children International,The Advocates for Human Rights and American Refugee Committee. Huy has years of experience in program management in relief to development settings. He has worked on humanitarian responses in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans. At Save the Children, Huy was the Country Director for Vietnam, where he led policy advocacy and programming efforts focusing on health systems, nutrition, child protection, among other sectors. Huy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, earned his MPH from the University of Minnesota, and served as a Peace Corps inland fisheries extension agent in Liberia from 1986-88.
