Chris is currently Director of Research and Government Affairs at GDC Partners, a R&D company dedicated to the application of multi-disciplinary research methodologies to quantify and evaluate consumer sentiment and corporate performance around environmental, social and governance issues. The firm’s latest effort is veebit.com, an online consumer values profiling tool designed to foster understanding and communication between consumers, investors, and corporations.
Prior to GDC Partners, Chris served as Advisor to ASSET (Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficking), where he worked with a coalition of NGOs, consumer groups and investment firms to achieve the passage of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010. Chris has worked as a Sr. Sector Advisor to Geneva Global, a philanthropic consulting firm specializing in international development, and in various research and analyst roles for the Democratic leadership of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A graduate of Hamline University and the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex, Chris has lived and worked in the US, UK, Slovakia, Serbia, and Ghana.
