Shaden Abdulla joined New Tactics in Human Rights MENA in July 2021 as a MENA Trainer, where she played a key role in delivering trainings across the region. Due to her effective contributions, Shaden was promoted to MENA Lead Trainer, a position in which she now oversees the development of training materials, conducts capacity-building sessions, and mentors Junior and Assistant Trainers. In this role, she also collaborates with human rights organizations to ensure the successful implementation of training programs tailored to the MENA region.
Shaden has over 10 years of experience in the international non-profit sector, with a strong focus on the disability and inclusion field for the past 6 years. Her work in the sector involves forming partnerships with NGOs to promote inclusive, accessible projects and fostering community awareness on the barriers faced by vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jordan, which supports her specialized focus on inclusion and her contributions to the humanitarian and the human rights field. Proficient in both Arabic and English.
