Nancy has been a human rights activist for over 40 years. She began working with CVT in 1999 as a social worker and trainer. She joined the New Tactics project in 2003 working with activists from around the world. She is responsible for creating curriculum to advance New Tactics’ training materials and techniques. She has brought New Tactics in Human Rights’ methodologies for strategic and tactical thinking to audiences worldwide. Nancy has a wide array of experience in non-profit work. This has included:
- Work directly with victims and survivors of human rights abuses
- Community organizing at local regional and international levels
- Training of human rights activists from around the world
Nancy has a master’s degree of social welfare from the University of California at Berkeley. She has a bachelors of science from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN.
