Salwa Abdel Wahed is a female social activist from Jordan. She is passionate about human rights, facilitation and social change.

Her commitment within her community began in Jordan and then expanded to the MENA and globally.  She is a member of the following networks: Youth Leaders Visitors Program (YLVP) Alumni with Swedish Institute, International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and A member of "The Right to Nonviolence Network".

Salwa endeavors to contribute to the social change process in the MENA region, and help youth become change agents in their communities.
