The best source of practical information and know-how is usually other people – people who have faced challenges and found ways to overcome them. The resources in this section were all created by people who wanted to share the benefit of their experiences.

Examples of Transferability

The New Tactics World Symposium, held in Ankara, Turkey in 2004, featured five strategy building workshop and  30 tactic workshops that showed examples of the transferability of tactics. The information below provides information on some of these tactics, particularly tactics that were implemented to help human rights defenders.
